More Space in Your Queens Home

A new layout can connect shared rooms or make space for a bedroom, office, or storage. We review the possibilities with you and your architect or designer and explain the construction involved.

For an addition, we plan connections to the existing structure and utilities. In an apartment building, we coordinate deliveries, access, and shared-system shutdowns with management.

Queens Construction Questions

When should I call about a renovation or addition?

You can call with an initial idea or developed plans. We can discuss the space you need and the construction and cost questions to review.

How do you help develop the budget?

We discuss your priorities and spending expectations, then compare the work needed for the layout and finishes you want. For an addition, that includes site work and connections to the existing home. The estimate explains what is included, what is excluded, and amounts allowed for products you wish to select.

Can Bau build an addition on my home?

Yes. Zoning, structure, utilities, and required approvals determine what can be built. We review construction questions with your architect or help engage the professionals needed.

Can I stay home during construction?

Sometimes. We review unavailable rooms and interruptions to water, power, heating, or cooling. We discuss phasing and alternative accommodations if needed.

Do you update the schedule?

Yes. We maintain the construction schedule and tell you when decisions and orders are needed. We explain new conditions or changes that affect timing.

Does Bau handle permit applications in Queens?

Yes. We coordinate drawings with licensed professionals, submit permit applications, and work with city agencies to obtain the necessary approvals before construction begins.
